Busta Rhymes was given the green light to perform just anÌýhour before Friday's event. The rapper was held by immigration staff overÌýhis criminal record in the States. Busta said he spent the time locked up watching TV and being fed "...five, six times a day."

Ludacris was added to the line-up last minute.ÌýHe performed hits like Yeah and Number One Spot.

John Legend had the 5,000 strong crowd singing along to Ordinary People and Green Light.

Lethal B also represented on stage - he was the only UK hip hop artist on the bill.
