This little cross is a reminder that Ethiopia has been a Christian nation for 2000 years. According to the Bible,in Acts chapter 8 the servant of the Ethiopian Queen Candace heard about Christianity and took the message back to Ethiopia, the first African nation to take the new religion. It was a gift of Emperor Haile Selassie to my mother. It is made of pure virgin Ethiopian gold.
