The object that I have was made by my granfather. It is made from rice because Bangladesh is famous for the amount of rice grown there. The story behind it is that my granfather had someone who worked for him and he thought he needed a gift for his hard work so he made him this picture. But the day he was going to give it he died and a week later my granfather died too. My mum inherited it and she gave it to me. The main colours are from the old bangladeshi flag. The instrument he is holding in his right hand is called a ektar because it has one string and ek means one in Bengali.
