A handpainted frog inside this mug, shows the world's struggle with the frog trade. On one side of the mug there is a ship with a 'free trade' pennant and on the other side is written 'Commerce with all nations - cheap bread & plenty'. This was acquired in Carlisle in the late 1970's.
