Radio 4 Appeal
Sophie Thompson makes the Radio 4 Appeal on behalf of Mary's Meals, which serves nutritious school meals to more than 2.4 million children in 17 of the world鈥檚 poorest countries, many of which are impacted by conflict and natural disasters. The promise of a daily meal attracts hungry children into the classroom where, instead of working or looking for food, they can gain an education and hope for a brighter future.
It costs 拢19.15 to feed a hungry child with Mary鈥檚 Meals every day for a school year.
