With smartphones, apps and the online world available at everyone鈥檚 fingertips, 麻豆官网首页入口 Three鈥檚 new horror series Red Rose explores how they can affect people鈥檚 lives in the most terrifying way.
Created by Bolton-born twins Michael and Paul Clarkson better known as the Clarkson Twins, who鈥檚 writing credits include Wheel of Time and The Haunting of Bly Manor, Red Rose is set and filmed in Bolton and shows off the town鈥檚 scenic landscapes and Northern Pride.
鈥淲e鈥檝e had the amazing opportunity to work in LA, but Bolton is our childhood home. We wanted to showcase the town that made us and explore the key issues facing young people today,鈥 the Clarkson twins say.

What鈥檚 Red Rose about?

The eight-part original horror series sees a group of friends on summer break after GCSEs balancing their real-life issues alongside the ones they live online. The teens鈥 summer is interrupted with the introduction of the sinister Red Rose app - a supernatural entity that affects friendships with its demands growing to new heights with every message.

Alongside Isis Hainsworth, the show stars Amelia Clarkson, known for playing Rosina in Poldark, The School of Good and Evil鈥檚 Ali Khan, Ellis Howard, from HBO鈥檚 Catherine the Great and Sex Education鈥檚 Ashna Rabheru.
As well as television debuts from Harry Redding, currently playing Jem Finch in To Kill A Mockingbird in the West End, and Laurence Olivier Bursary-winner, Natalie Blair.

Together the group find themselves caught up in a summer of relationships, partying, betrayal and terror all under the all-seeing Red Rose app, which will amplifies the horror of the internet and being online.
Red Rose is ultimately a story of friendship, told through the classic horror-thriller genre.
