My inspiration was fusion of different types of dance. I tried to give the classic ballet tutu look a more modern, urban feel. I bleached some black denim and used it to make the all-in-one piece. For the top layer of the tutu I made a fabric using pink carrier bags, magazines, tissue paper and glue. I liked the idea of recycling the carrier bags for fashion, as they don't really get used otherwise.
