I was inspired by the song "Hand Springs" by the White Stripes. The lyrics are set over a drum beat and there are strong guitar interludes between each part of the story. I wanted to recreate a similar effect with my character pausing to speak over a drum beat with the action taking place to the music. I was also inspired by the work of the director Chris Cunninham, who directs some very imaginative videos and isn't afraid to make weird shorts. Credits: Edward and Alex starred in the film. My friend James composed the music for the video.
