Clothing, both by Matthew Williamson and from Mexico, make me think of bright colours, pattern and embroidery so that was my main inspiration. Also I wanted to make the dress look modern so I took the pattern from traditional clothing and put it on a lighter fabric to give it a more feminine feel.
