This dress design was inspired by the bright vibrant colours of Mexican carnival and the light fluid materials used in Matthew Williamson's summer collections. I designed a knee length dress lined with bold Mexican block patterns around the edges, matching silk gloves with pink silk flares and a matching carnival hat with flares and pink feathers. I used warm colours such as pink, red, peach, yellow and orange silk material to show of Mexico's hot climate. I hope you like it.
