Day of the Dead Inspired Dress

I drew inspiration from the Mexican "Dia de los Muertos" [The Day of the Dead]. I incorporated skulls, like the sugar skulls eaten on the day in Mexico, flowers, including the orange marigold, the flower of the dead. I used warm colours for the garland and embroidery to reflect the climate and landscape, and I kept the rest of the dress white to contrast with the decorations.
