My Mexican inspired dress

The cactus is a dominant theme in any Mexican landscape. During the course of my research, I found a photo of a cross-section of a cactus. I thought this very different and interesting, and so incorporated it into the fabric pattern of my dress. The belt was inspired by geometic designs found carved into stone. If my dress were to be produced, then I would use chiffon fabric as it is floaty and feminine.
