My design was inspired by Mexican flamenco dresses and the traditional Mexican festival "Day of the Dead" which is why I have combined floral and decorative skull imagery. I have chosen to use these colours not only because they are the colours I associate with Mexico but also because I was inspired by Matthew Williamson's own love of colour.
