From looking at the culture of Mexico the day of the dead, 'el dia de los muertos' grabbed me the most. This dress was inspired by the death which is clearly shown in the plain black fabric while the bands of Colour show the Mexican party culture. The bands were inspired by the flowers they use in the day of the dead. This final design also links to patterns of Matthew Williamson and for me follows the brief.
