Title: La elegancia F el arco iris (Elegance of the rainbow)

I based my design on the knowledge I gained of Mexico from my research. Mexico is a country full of bright colours, be it either in food or the landscape, the beautiful plants or the clothing. This is what inspired the colours used in my dress. I also researched into the flamingo dresses worn in Mexico and realised that the dresses had layers of beautiful colours. I put this idea forward into my dress to come up with elegant layers of colour. I didn't want to copy the idea of the frilly layers in the flamingo dress as I wanted to put my own twist to the design.
