Who/what inspires you: Music with passionate lyrics or a sound that creates emotion or evokes reaction; whether you want to headbang, dance, laugh or cry. I'm always being inspired by musicians, writers and the people I meet who are working towards, or doing what they love.
Love: Summer Festivals.
Hate: Pollution.
Dream job: Music Reporter
What the creative traineeship means to you: That my passion is something I should take further. Working for Radio 1 is something I thought was beyond my reach but it's shown me that with enough drive and hard work it can be possible. I've worked with some brilliant presenters, producers - some of whom I've listened to since I was a kid (Steve Lamacq!) I have so much more confidence now than I had when I first began the placement, plus a real insight into how the company operates and the type of tasks each individual deals with.
