I choose Rizzle Kicks because I like their music and I like their style. They seem like very nice guys who are completely comfortable in their own skin, they aren't afraid to be creative and to speak their minds through their music. Their music is very true to themselves and they aren't pretending to be somebody else. Therefore, I chose to keep the design at a minimum, just to keep it simple because the idea of Rizzle Kicks is simple too; they're just two guys who share a passion for music. I chose to include the portrait aspect of the design in the shape of a Polaroid to reflect Rizzle's love of Polaroids and retro images. Rizzle Kicks seem very creative so I came up with the idea to knit the Polaroid, just to add something different to the usual album artworks. I think that the design reflects their creative and happy personalities, and ultimately what they’re music is all about, which are their lives and their views on the issues that matter to them.
