Firstly, this isn't my real accent! I've put on a kind of Alan Bennett accent because I reckon it gives a nice authentic quality to the performance (my accent is fairly non descript). I wrote this monologue out of boredom, I really hope you like it. I'm wondering if I should extend it and make it into a short play...We shall see!

This is wonderful - you're right - there's something very 'Alan Bennet' about it - and it works really well. Are you planning to perform it at all, or add to it and make it a full length script?
