I want to give you peace of mind,
And peace of being.
But you must want it for yourself
Before I can even try.
You suffer endlessly
With sorrows many
And nightmares,
Of a world you can't understand.
But that world is this world,
For your continuing confusion
Seems to be spinning the whole world
In your eyes.
If I had the power I would
Let you fly from this land of misery
Into a world of your dreams,
Where everything is easy
And uncomplicated.
And so where I am not,
As I'm a complication of your life.
I will sacrifice myself, if it means your
Happiness will blossom like a flower
In the spring sun.
I want to give you peace of mind,
And peace of being.
But you must want it for yourself
Before I can even try.
