Winter's cold lock me out
Summer's heat suffocate me
Autumn's fall cover me
Spring's bloom embrace me
Sing me to sleep in these times of discontent
Write me a poem that makes my heart bleed
Stitch me up without hesitation
This is what I was made for
Come with me and you'll see
Our future awaits us
We must embrace it without emotion
Emotion disturbs us from our true purpose
As humans we cannot avoid it
Too bad.......we would have progressed
