My friends the Twins
Nothing too short of my shins
They say can you see us from up that far
While they drive around in their little green car
I shout and then blow them away
They say it's like a tornado coming their way
I lift them up and say I'm sorry
They say my voice is as loud as a lorry
I whisper down low until I can't hear myself
It's really hard talking to an elf
I watch them dance in their pyjamas
I think they're from the capital of the Bahamas
I say no and send them away
But they're just out to play all day
They jump back and forth side to side
I'm about to commit suicide
They leap into the fridge and empty it out
I ducked and I dodged but I could not escape
The pie that was flung was cherry not grape
One the fridge was empty the laundry was not
T-shirts and knickers flew like a shot
They invaded the cubby hole
Toilet paper flew role by role
They flew into the dinning room
Where plates of china collapsed with a boom
My mum came in' now I hate myself
Its really hard dealing with an elf
Now I said its time to go
But I was too slow
I chased them all the way upstairs and down
And now I feel like a real clown
I spotted one on a bicycle
One on a unicycle
They leaped from the bikes and onto the shed
I really wish they'd go to bed
They bounced up and down not even breaking a sweat
They're going to give up some time, I bet
They bounced all around off of each wall
Go to bed without any supper I started to call
Then when all hopes where lost at 12 'o'clock at night
They went to bed and all I could say 'don't let the bed bugs bite'
I could now have some time to myself
It's really hard hoisting an elf
