Title: Sleeping Like A Baby

by Craig from Cornwall | in writing, poetry, dark

You tuck me in
with a blanket of stars
kissing the moon
and all of its crevasses
a good night.

The lights fade to a fireflies glow,
sensing nightmares
I clutch at the halo
and its cherub ponytail
losing girp and falling,
falling
falling
falling
falling,
tumbling;
Mum
I fell out of bed again.
