I'm no stranger to child marriages. My auntie got married at 15. My granny was married at 12 - and went on to have eight kids. But that was back in Afghanistan, where my family come from. I've grown up in England since the age of six and I have different ideas about when you should get married. I'm 23 and I'm not planning the big day just yet!

And although child marriage is illegal in many countries, it happens all over the world. One in seven girls gets married before the age of 15 in the developing world. Can it really be so bad for all of them, or is it just our Western perspective that makes it seem so shocking? That's what I wanted to find out.

I set off for two countries with some of the highest rates of child marriage in the world - India and Bangladesh. It was a gruelling trip through some of the poorest parts of south Asia - from the slums of Dhaka to remote villages in the deserts of Rajasthan. I found stories of despair, hope, and defiance. And the people I met completely changed my views about child marriage in a way I wasn't expecting.

Adoption! It's something that's had a huge impact in my life and I'm thankful for having the oppurtunity to explore this on the show. This means a lot to me.

I've always known I was adopted. When I was younger, I thought it was dead cool that mum chose me from all the other kids. This is something I've always boasted to my friends about. I didn't really start thinking about my birth family until my teenage years - there was a time when I really struggled with the person I was and how I looked. I hated myself and knowing that my birth parents couldn't love me, how could anybody else???

I had no confidence and life was a struggle despite all the love I had from my adoptive family. I was angry, lonely and felt lost in the world. Thankfully, I got through it because I had family and friends that were always there for me.

But in 2009, I made the decision to find out about my birth parents - not neccessarily to meet them - but just wanted the chance to say 'hey this is me, I'm happy, hope you are too...'. It would've been amazing to meet them, but that wasn't the case.

I've no regrets though and I'm glad I tried - hope they're happy and have no guilt. What is interesting is that during the process of it all, I found out all sorts of info about my biological family from my paper work: their jobs, where they lived, what they were like and the best bit I of all, I had siblings. I even found out their names. Wow I have siblings!

Soon as I got home I went onto Facebook typing in their names, even shortening the names - but no luck. Frustrating! I wanted to see them. I wonder if they look like me? What do they do? I have all sorts I want to ask them, but haven't thought about the next step if, or when I eventually find them...More questions ran through my mind. What will I actually do when I find them? Surely I can't send them a message because they don't know about me? Surely I should respect my parents' wishes and keep away? But then what happens if they find out about me another way? Argghhh!!! I still dont know the best way to go about it - frustrates me...

I don't want to cause my siblings any heartache - and however they find out about me there'll be an element of grief. And what would finding out about me do to their relationship with their mum and dad? I'd hate anything to come between me and my mum - So how can I do it to them? In fact I dont know if I can.

Luckily though, when I do decide what to do, I know I have a great support network around me and I know no matter what I decide and whatever happens they'll always be there. I am one lucky guy and am truly grateful.

So what's it all about? Well, show revolves around this 17-year-old geek called Paul who sees vengeful spirits or Fades and basically gets embroiled in a battle between the living and the dead. Having said that, the show is also about the bromance going on with Paul, played by Lip Service's Iain de Caestecker, and his best mate Mac, played by Skins' Daniel Kauuya.

The rest of The Fades cast list is just as impressive.

• Miranda heartthrob Tom Ellis (Harley Street, Merlin) who plays Mark, a teacher under suspicion when his ex-wife Sarah (played by The Tudors' Natalie Dormer) goes missing and is feared dead.
• Johnny Harris (This is England '86, Spartacus) who is Neil, a lone warrior against the forces of darkness, who becomes Paul's unlikely mentor.
• Daniela Nardini (This Life, A Street Car Named Desire) plays Helen and like Paul she also has an extraordinary ability which will prove useful in the fight to save mankind.
• Lily Loveless (Skins) who plays Anna, Paul's fierce twin sister who finds being related to someone like Paul rather annoying.
• Sophie Wu (Kick Ass) plays Paul's love interest, Jay.

The series is written by Jack Thorne, who's also written This Is England '86, Skins, The Scouting Book For Boys and Cast Offs.

For my first blog post I wanted to talk about parties ... political parties that is.

It's at this time of year they get together for their party conferences - it's a chance for them to lay out for all of us to see what they plan to do over the next 12 months.

So what would you like to see them do? Young Voters' Question Time will be back in October, towards the end of the party conference season, asking just that question, but to get the ball rolling I thought you might like to suggest some areas important to you here on the Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú Three blog.

Most eyes will be on the and because as the coalition they have the power to put forward their ideas in legislation.

For the Conservatives we can probably expect the economy, changes to public welfare and even how ready we are for the 2012 London Olympics to be some of the issues on the agenda.

What looks like the main focus for will be re-assuring Lib Dem party members that the coalition is working for them. He's always said his party will be judged on what they've achieved at the end of their five years in power.

That's not to say the won't be in the media spotlight. It was at last year's conference they chose as leader. There's been much debate and many questions over what Labour under Miliband stands for. Expect him to outline his policy plans.

With the (SNP) gaining overall power in Scotland last year, it'll be interesting to see the debate over the prospect of the referendum on becoming fully independent.

It falls to , or the Party of Wales, to kick the whole autumn round of conferences off this week. , and the Northern Ireland parties like the (DUP) and will all have gatherings as well.

You'll see new recruits Polly and Jazz learning the arts of deception which catch out the public. But just who are Polly and Jazz?

Acting is one of the biggest skills a hustler could have and Polly, who hails from Bristol, has built up an extensive background in drama from her school days. Outside her modelling and presenting work, she enjoys bikram yoga, painting, travelling and making sure her three dogs Frank, Lulu and Coco are well looked after!

Former MTV and Channel 4 sound man Jazz is no stranger to acting either. The Italia Conti graduate has been involved in lots of great productions including some great plays with Matt Smith (aka Doctor Who) during their National Youth Theatre days.
