A quick blog to say hi. Today saw the very sad demise of Birthday Corner. I say sad – Chris is over the moon with that fact that it’s no more, Rachel and Dave and I don’t agree. Thank goodness its friday!! Its been a very eventful week on the Chris Moyles Show - Spice Girls On Tuesday - Photoshoots on wednesday! And of course Chelsea reaching the Carling Cup final!!!
We've all been dashing all over the place so quite glad tomorrow we can all stay in bed! Although I am off to Watford v Wolves in the FA Cup for Score and 5 Live so no rest for the wicked!

This week body image has been the main focus - very scary shots taken on wednesday - I am in a gold and black lame dress!! And no not something I would normally wear out as a rule! Its going to be really scary when we get to look at the shots on Monday when they've been airbrushed to death!! Although having Elle McPherson legs is never a bad thing - just hope Captain Underpants will still prefer the real me!!! As part of this we've set up a fun make your own radio 1 DJ online - its very funny creating the love child of Jo Whiley and Moyles - or Zane and Edith!!

The shows have been very random with dodby waxworks in great yarmouth - pigs in james bond and what type of man would Dave fancy...I hope you've enjoyed them! Should be just as much fun next week culminating in the arrival of the lovely Alan Carr - maybe we should test his Tom Jones skills like JLC !! Ear plugs at the ready I reckon!!

Hi blogsters…so today we sat in the studio after the show and talked about who should do the blog and we decided the honour lay on my shoulders. So, hello I hope you're having a good Thursday.

Today, has been a very random day. The show consisted of conversations about eglu's, our photo shoot and a trip to Great Yarmouth. The reason we were talking about Great Yarmouth is because the seaside town houses a waxworks museum. Thing is the said waxworks don't look anything like who they're meant to look like!
Anyway, apparently some of them are going to be auctioned off and Chris is thinking about buying one. This led on to the thinking that we might have a team bonding day in Great Yarmouth. So, if you live there let us know where we should go. What's the weather like this time of year?

On Monday Chris surprised us with a trip to see the Spice Girls on their last night in London - naturally Rach and I jumped at the chance!!! For some reason Dom and Dave were busy! But totally their loss!! So at half 7 I met up with Rach, Aled, Matt and Sarah from the show to go and get spiced up! It was highly amusing travelling on the tube. You could kind of tell who was going - something to do with union jack dresses and blonde bunches giving it away!

I am rubbish at weather. FACT. This was highlighted on the show Tuesday morning.

The problem is i'm not a fully trained meteorologist and as such can only really work in terms of what the weather's doing where I am e.g. outside the Radio 1 building. This is a problem when you're reading weather information to the entire UK...

Oh My God! (Or as I'm down with the kids OMG!) has 2008 been both a busy one and a visual one for The Chris Moyles Show! For example, from this morning's show Chris let us in on a little secret. Whenever he hears the Mark Ronson track - Toxic featuring Tiggers he has a special move he does when his flat.

He got Dave and Dom to do it. A highly visual feature to say the least. In the old days of radio technology you would have to leave it to the creative crevices of your brain to see it - nowadays of course I had my phone, Radio 1's YouTube account and a blog to enable you to see just how stupid they looked:

Just remember they're both fathers and watch it again.
