Happy Easter all

Nick Robinson | 09:38 UK time, Tuesday, 11 April 2006

All being well, I'm going to be off until after Easter. Mind you, bearing in mind how much happened last time I was on holiday, you might be hearing from me before that. Happy Easter everyone.

It seems the Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú's political editor almost has as much time away from television centre as Galloway has away from the Commons!

Biggest shock story this easter will be the violent overthrow of the Australian government if Ponting's boys go down to Bangladesh.

Happy Easter Mr. Robinson.

Nick, are you offering me the job in your absence? I won't be sitting by my phone...

Biggest story this easter you will miss is the forthcoming resignation of David Cameron when the Conservative Party realise they actually have no values and policies of their own, and that they were all borrowed from New Labour and the Liberal Democrats.

And perhaps the premiditated strike on Iranian nuclear facilities from Israel? I wouldn't bet against it. you heard it here first!

Tsk, tsk.
Working for a publicly financed organisation and having holidays.
Too much of a good thing will blunt your ability to see through the smoke and mirrors our politicians put out.

Nick, might I take this moment to express how much I enjoy your broadcasts and wish that you were on TV more often. I dare say you deserve your own show sir.

Mr Robinson, found your blog on wikipedia and noticed your wiki entry has no picture (a shame as you're so cute) and not that much detail. If it rains during Easter (distinctly possible) and you have time, would you bring your entry up to date? I'm sure there are lots of interesting things you could add!

Nick,

Think you should go away more. Politics seems to get more interesting (e.g. arrest of Des Smith).

Well, it would seem that France is not the only country where working for either the government or the pride-of-state corporations equates to little work and much play... Perhaps a new law is needed to protect our citizens from this plague...

Pleased that you have the chance to enjoy an Easter holiday from your hard-working role.

Where has our hard-working Prime Minister gone - we haven't heard from him for quite a while ?

You seem to have an excellent holiday package commensurate with teachers and politicians. Is this the norm in the Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú?
