Taking some time off

Nick Robinson | 17:04 UK time, Tuesday, 12 February 2008

Forgive the radio silence.

I've been spending the past couple of day polishing off a Radio 4 documentary called "What does David Cameron really think?" which will be broadcast on Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú Radio 4 this Saturday at 11 am and after that time can be heard on the Radio 4 website and you can even podcast it.

Now I'm taking advantage of the parliamentary half term for a few days off with my family. Back next week.

Two days Nick? Surely 30 minutes would have been plenty long enough?

A cheap shot I suppose, but not one that could be resisted.

Dvid Cameron probably thinks Gordon Brown is a dithering control freak whose promise to end boom and bust has gone tragically wrong with the run on the Rock. He thinks the latest grandstanding policy on cultural education is Stalinist control freakery of the most absurd, Orwellian kind. He thinks the posturing of the government for the past seven months on anything from floods to China to economic stability is disingenuos and insulting to the sovereign subjects of these sceptered isles. He probably also thinks the Scots will never really understand the English and he's right.

You mean thoughts actually occur in that head of his? He certainly does a good job at hiding that fact whenever he moves his lips.
