The knife amnesty, like all amnesties, is a load of rubbish.
How many criminals hands over knives or firearms at these amnesties?
Probably none.
What is more likely is friends and relatives turning in these 'weapons', after finding grandads old war trophies stuffed away in the loft for the last 60 years.
When is the real issue of 'gang mentality' going to be adressed?
