The 502 Beach.
Will THIS really be the last Beach to be afflicted by 502 errors? And will we need a new one on Monday anyway?
I do not know the answer to either of those questions....

Let's give it a go. Now I'm back to work things will be getting desperate without a beach to wander.
Oh and my new years resolution of no coffee (take note Mr. Mair) has failed (though did last from xmas day!). Y'day, my first day back in the office, was unbarable without the black stuff to help me concentrate.
Back to 6 a day it is.
and look. there's a tasty 502 to go with my coffee....

In this case, Mr Mair, no news is definitely NOT good news!
I'll certainly try to hang on in there on the Beach.... Do you have any more firm details about the 7th, Eddie? Is it definite? What's the registration process going to be like? etc etc....

Personally, I shall miss the 502 when it packs its bags. Should we throw a party on the 6th, and frisk it for silverwear before sending it on its way forever?

Anyhoo. I'm back from Londinium and getting geared up for working in Manchester tomorrow.

And would you please let us know if there is any way we will be able to access the still-existing but not directly from the Blog frog pages? I mean via the Beeb, rather than any way that inspired and tech-savvy froggers can come up with?
Will all big and burly froggers please stand in a protective cordon around me? I am being stalked by a three-digit number who keeps asking me 'how I want him to stand fur de frisking'!
Between that and dragging me into Café 502 every single time I've posted today... well, you can see why a girl gets twitchy.

That's the tree down now; just the ornaments etc to pack away, and the window lights to transfer to the fireplace, where they will twinkle and sparkle and pretend to be a 'real' fire till Spring!
Now, what would we all say to a nice big beach bonfire? I've brought all sorts of snorkers (including 3 flavours of veggie ones), spuds for baking, and a few dips and toppings. Also muffins for the sweetie-pies among us.
And then when we've got our energy levels up ... some drinking games?

I've lit the beach bonfire, marinaded the various snorkers, and heaped plenty of toppings and dips to go with the baked spuds. All ready to go!

oooh. is there enough for me? i need something to wash down my home made hummus and bread. bit dry but very tasty. plenty on the bar for those a bit peckish.
had a fabulous day playing in the kitchen making all sorts of nibbles and dips from my new recipe book. only problem now is that i don't have enough appropriately sized pots to fit it all in the fridge. tuppaware party?
Have you seen our which happened in our kitchen over Christmas???

Before this beach is washed away and we have to rescue the NCMB and move it to pastures new (no that doesn't sound right) I'm leaving some fresh Darjeeling, a pot of builders' tea, some best Java and freshly heated croissants.
Now do I go and take down the purple hammock or not...?

I made some honey & whisky icecream last night - it tastes great! So, I've left some in the emergency cool-box behind NC's bar, in cae the new blog things causes a power surge and we lose all electricity.

Hopefully, I am still Humph. If so, others should remember that once they have made an account under a unique name, they can then change their nickname to a non-unique one.
