Nigel Wrench writes: "In a rehearsal room in North London, young actors work on their sword-fighting skills, for a play that imagines what happened after Shakespeare's Macbeth ended.

A foreign army tries to restore order after toppling a tyrant.

Familiar? Its writer David Greig and director Roxana Silbert acknowledge parallels with modern-day Iraq and Afghanistan.

Both are on PM tonight along with some extracts from the play.

Would Shakespeare have been pleased? Should politicians be invited along?

Our picture by the way is by Simon Annand, and a rehearsal blog by the play's soldier chorus."
