The return of Inside Sport
Hello everyone, and welcome to the first Inside Sport blog of the new series. For those who haven’t yet clocked it, we return on Monday, 3 September, 2305 BST on Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú ONE.
I know a lot of you wondered whether the show could run in an earlier slot but, as I think I said, it’s not a decision for me and I really hope you will continue to stay up and watch the programme whatever time it’s on.
has been busy over the summer – you may have heard her on Five Live on Saturday mornings presenting a really lively show – I particularly liked the Umpire Strikes Back quiz, and she also did Wimbledon too. But she’s also been very busy on this programme’s behalf, netting a lot of excellent interviews already.
I can’t tell you the names yet but the sports we’ve already covered with the interviews and features we’ve filmed include , , , , , and – something for everyone and there’s lots more to come over the 14 weeks we’re on air.
During the first run I appreciated all each week and I’m hoping you will do the same this time. I will reply to the main points each week in my blog and some of the points you raised I hope we’ll address in the second run.
