At we’d like your help to find Britain’s deadliest finisher. It’s often been said that the likes of Alan Shearer and Robbie Fowler ‘know where the back of the net is’. That they are born with an instinctive ability to score. Can that really be true? Well, this season we’ve decided to try our best to check it out, by getting players to take penalties. Blindfolded.

The way you can help is by letting us know who you think is the most gifted finisher at your club. Please leave your suggestions at the bottom of this blog. We’ll get in touch with as many players as we can and go to any club in Britain that will have us! We’ve already visited a couple of league sides including Championship newcomers .

Here’s a sneak preview of .

I think Blackpool deserve our thanks for being such great sports but I reckon there’ll be plenty of other players out there who think they can do better. Get in touch! I hope you enjoy the new feature and who knows, it might even do (and ) penalty-takers a few favours in the future.

Anyway, thanks in advance for all your suggestions of natural born finishers who you’d like to see take part. Whoever you support, I wish you and your club a great season ahead. And I hope you’ll join us on Football Focus every week from this Saturday at 1210 BST on Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú ONE and, of course, online, for all our extra features.

Find out what's on the first Focus of the season .
