Just witnessed the best speech, by far, of the new parliament. John Swinney, winding up the debate on transport policy. One by one, he wiped the floor with opponents who had spoken in the debate - with a ferocious blend of rant, rhetoric and rumbustious counter-attack. Terrific stuff.

john Sweeney (reporter) came to mind after I saw that speech (rant). I wish Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú parliament covered the scottish parliament in the same way every day, they should have two screens.
Classic web 2.0 moment - ie, do you have a link to a video clip of Swinney's speech? Isn't this what the all-singing, all-dancing internetted Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú is supposed to make possible? Gentle further nudge in direction of 21st century, Brian.
He's a thug. His performance reminded me of vintage Hitler. Shout down anyone who disagrees. Is this a sign of things to come?
