'Teach our boy in Welsh'

The parents of Brandon Donnelly, 12, who suffers from autism, say he’s been treated unfairly because there’s no school available where he can be taught through the medium of Welsh.

Brandon currently attends mainstream Welsh-medium Ysgol Glan Clwyd, St Asaph, but he can only attend part-time because of his condition.

His mum, Paula, of Meliden, near Prestatyn, tells the there are no Welsh-speaking special units in the area. However, the Welsh Assembly says grants are available if councils were to apply for funding.
