Apply for a Silver badge
The super exciting and sparkling Silver badge is awarded to Blue Peter fans who show individual acts of kindness. To earn the Silver badge, you must show kindness by doing something for your community, or another person. You may do some super fundraising, volunteer, or speak up against injustice. You can apply using our online form or by post.
To apply for a Silver badge you must be between 5-15 years old.
Our Silver badge has been created to shine a light and elevate kids who do things for others, and we wanted to mark the Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú’s 100 year birthday, with an updated and inspirational badge.
To earn this badge, you must:
Apply for your Silver badge online using the uploader form, or click the 'get this activity' button above, to download the paper application form.
Ask your parent or guardian for permission to apply and ask them to read the Privacy NoticeÌý²¹²Ô»åÌýbadge attraction terms and conditions.
Tell us about what you have done to earn your badge. Perhaps you’ve helped someone, you may have done something kind in your community, or maybe you’ve spoken out about something you believe in.
Upload a photo, video or artwork to show us how you’ve helped.
Get your parent or guardian to help you fill out your form and personal details.
If applying by post, send your application with the correct postage to: Blue Peter, Â鶹¹ÙÍøÊ×Ò³Èë¿Ú Bridge House, MediaCityUK, Salford, M50 2BH.

What happens when I've sent my application?
Thousands of children apply for badges each year and it can take up to 12 weeks for your badge to arrive, so please be patient!Â
