Banana Vegan Chocolate Chip Ice Cream

Filled with delicious almond milk, maple syrup, bananas and yummy chocolate chips, my ice-cream is melt-in-your-mouth delicious!

You will need
  • 4 ripe bananas, peeled and cut into chunks
  • 240ml almond milk
  • 80ml maple syrup
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 170g vegan milk chocolate chips

Before you start, make sure your grown-up knows you鈥檙e going to make magic in the kitchen! And do get help when using hot, sharp, or heavy objects while cooking...

SERVES 6-8

1. Pop your banana chunks onto a baking tray and freeze until solid, around an hour.

2. Once they鈥檙e chilly, add them to a blender with the almond milk, maple syrup and vanilla extract. Blend until all smooth and combined.

3. Next unplug the blender, add the chocolate chips and give it a stir.

4. Pour the mixture into a freezer-safe container with a lid. Give it a stir to spread out the chocolate chips.Pop on the lid and put into the freezer overnight, or until completely frozen.

5. When you鈥檙e ready to eat the ice cream, scoop out and enjoy :)
