Before you start, make sure your grown-up knows you鈥檙e going to make magic in the kitchen! And do get help when using hot, sharp, or heavy objects while cooking...

SERVES 5

1. Cut the meat substitute into 1cm strips. Be careful with sharp knives or ask an adult.

2. Tip your cornflour, all-purpose seasoning, salt and pepper into a freezer bag. Now add your meat-free strips.

3. Make sure the bag is tightly closed and give it a good shake. Time to get your dance moves out! Take the strips out of the flour. Remember to wash out the freezer bag and save it for another use.

4. Pour a splash of oil into a frying pan and place over a medium heat. Once hot, add your meat-free strips. Fry until crispy and golden, using tongs to turn halfway through. Place on a plate lined with kitchen roll to soak up any extra oil

5. Heat the BBQ sauce up in a small saucepan, then add the jerk marinate. Stir well then bring up to the boil. Once it鈥檚 bubbling, take it off the heat. Pour into a bowl.

6. Toss the strips into the bowl with the BBQ sauce and mix gently to completely cover with tasty sauce.

7. Serve with chopped herbs if you鈥檙e feeling fancy.

8. Enjoy :)
