Entrance is free, but there is a small charge for car parking.

The country park has a visitor centre with a gift shop and refreshments. In addition there is over 400 acres of parkland with all-weather pathways for wheelchair users.
There is also a large bird hide, a children's play area, coarse fishing and a varied events programme.
