He has converted the garage of his parent's house into a studio, giving him a practical space and more motivation to work.
He said: "...this is the first time I have taken it seriously and tried to get somewhere with it, due largely to the conversion of my garage into a studio to work in giving me the space and storage for work as spray painting in my bedroom isn't the best of ideas!"

Urban inspiration

Ed's work focuses mainly on urban artwork, inspired largely by photographs he takes. Some of these photographs are left as art in their own right, while Ed adapts and changes others. He digitally alters them on his computer and then paints the results.
He is also inspired by other artists, in particular Banksy. Ed describes his work:
"Banksy is a street artist from London. He uses stencils to convey his opinion and views on society."
In addition to street inspiration, Ed also incorporates some anime and manga styles into his paintings, using a range of techniques that include spraypainting and stencils.

Ed designed his own website (linked on the left) and has a keen appreciation of the importance of showing his work to the public.
He said: "As a young artist I feel it is important to get known early, giving me and others alike a better chance of survival in the artistic world."
