 | | Six artists are exhibiting at the gallery between 12 and 27 October, displaying a diverse mix of photography and painting - including images from around the world by Jim Botton, paintings of Barbados by Anthony Haynes and works from some Coventry University Media Arts Graduates.
There are also a number of events taking place - scroll to the bottom of the page for details.
Jim Botton's work is well-known in Coventry for the quality of his photographic images from around the world.
Anthony Haynes has two distinct styles of painting: One has the joyous quality of a Barabadian summer while the other has the immediacy and brevity of line that shows a true mastery of the brush.
The photography of Coventry graduates Derek Wiafe and Rahul Patel reflects urban street culture, while fellow graduate Davinia Fleary harks to a distant Caribbean enchanted island life.

Beverley Hesson's photography, meanwhile, reflects the child's eye view in making sense of a new world.
Coventry City Councillor Tony Skipper said he was enthusiastic about the events at the Herbert and taking place throughout the city.
"This presents a wonderful opportunity to create an understanding of the richness of the cultures that are the lifeblood of Coventry as a city," he said.
"Coventry as a place would be the poorer without that diversity."
The Herbert Art Gallery and Museum is open Monday to Saturday, between 10am and 5.30pm and on Sundays between 12pm and 5pm. All exhibitions are free.
