CIN is a charitable trust that distributes funds raised by the annual 麻豆官网首页入口 television and radio appeal.

Grants are made to charities and voluntary groups that help children in need throughout the UK.

There are five Regional Advisory Committees in England that make recommendations to CIN Trustees on which grants to award. In their last grant-making round, the committees recommended a total of around 拢8m to 13 organisations.

Committee members must be able to work as part of a team, communicate effectively and assess the merits of a grant application in an objective manner.

CIN is looking for new committee members who have knowledge and/or experience of :

路 children and young people's services
路 grant making
路 the voluntary sector
路 the public sector
路 child protection issues
路 organisational finances/equal opportunity issues.

A regional committee chair must be able to think strategically, communicate effectively with the committee and ensure that objective grant making takes place. Previous experience of managing a committee would be desirable.

The posts involve four to six days attendance at meetings in February and June, plus preparation time.

Appointments are for three years in the first instance and expenses will be met.
