Inspired by the Hollywood flick Blue Streak, Chor Machaaye Shor (meaning The Cry Of A Thief) is a crazy comedy thriller from the master of comic capers, director David Dhawan.

After his two year sentence, Sham is horrified to learn that the very place where he hid the diamond now houses a police station!
In order to get his hands on the loot, Sham decides to join the police under the name of Inspector Ram.
But problems arise when Ram comes under immediate suspicion of a senior officer (Om Puri). Meanwhile another officer takes a liking to Ram and decides to get his daughter, Kajal (Shilpa Shetty) married to him.

Soon a third sub-plot forms around Sham when a crazy female police inspector, Ranjita (Bipasha Basu) becomes infatuated by our thief cum police officer, Sham!
What results from this mayhem, only David Dhawan can answer as he cleverly takes his audience through a series of crazy situations and crazier people!

This director comes up trumps with this film which brims with madness, mayhem and memorable characters as they dance away with Anu Malik's musical score. Malaysia forms the exotic locales of all the dance sequences in this film.
With a wacky storyline and a fresh combination of stars, director David Dhawan will once again emerge a winner with this film so full of fun and frolic that laughter never ends till the very last frame!
