Our three lead characters find out what prison life is really like, thanks to Mohan (Gulshan Grover), the prison warden.
Mohan believes in reformation and runs a brilliant system where prisoners become independent and have their own self-respect.
But he is wary of Ishaan who has frequently taken advantage of the prison's hospitality in the past.
Mohan treats prison mates, as normal people who in turn get motivated towards freedom.

Always believing that he can find a way to escape through the prison walls; Ishaan befriends Nagya and Jaggu who think that freedom of some sorts will always prevail at the very end.
The sub-plot for these three characters come in the form of Chandrika (Juhi Chawla), a reporter who decides to do a documentary on all three prisoners.
Intelligent and perceptive with her subjects, Chandrika is somewhat imprisoned by her own personal shackles and emotions as she sensitively explores the natures of the convicts.
With great strength and depth, the audience soon finds that there is more to her than what meets the eye.
Through her documentary, a picture of all three men begins to develop. More so she now has the power to change the fates of these men.
She goes through the right channels to unravel a shocking and unpredictable truth. This leads to an explosive climax which will have the audience gasping for their breaths.
A film full of substance and conviction which defies all norms. A great piece of Bollywood is about to emerge on our screens this Autumn season.
