Bob Eaton's adaptation of Terry Pratchett's epic novel combined film and live action at the Belgrade Theatre, Coventry.
Katy Field Katy who had the read the book Truckers by Terry Pratchett thought that the play did the book justice. In her own words she describes the plot:
"Four gnomes came down from the "outside" and lived in a shopping centre with others, until it had to be closed down and demolished. They escaped on a truck which they drove"
Kieran Gangaram Kieran age 9 enjoyed it the most and said that he would read the book after seeing the play. He enjoyed the part of the play when they were driving the lorry.
He recommended Truckers to his friends.
The gnomes lived underneath the floorboards of the department store. They walked around the stage in a funny way. The Store was going to be knocked down

They all enjoyed the movement of the gnomes. They found their on-stage presnce hilarious.
Towards the end Aydun got a bit bored. I felt that the play was more suitable for older children and adults.
However, it ws a fun day out in the Easter break.
