The online centre provides free access to people that otherwise would have limited or no access to the internet.
The centre helps people to develop skills to use the internet and to send emails. In addition the staff offer support and experience to help people to explore the possibilities of technology for learning and development.
St Chad's also has a whole range of games and users can edit photographs, burn music CDs and make the most of surfing the web on a fast Broadband connection on its seven computers.

The centre's website offers space to others so they can have their own pages on the web. A range of Wood End community groups are using the site as a place to share information and promote their activities, like the local branch of the NDC,
The site also has a jobs section and a notice board so community messages can easily be shared.
