  'Well this week kicks off with Apple Day in Ambridge, but who is in apple pie order, and who’s got the pip?
  
  Once Ed and Emma finally settled down together it was all motherhood and apple pies but, now they can’t afford so much as an apple, Emma’s turning sour. Paring down her budget and with little to take her mind of her troubles, she has begun stewing in her own juices. Let’s just hope they can get to the core of the problem before it grows as, you know what they say - one bad apple can spoil the barrel!
  
  The apple of Lilian’s eye moves in to the Dower House. Unfortunately, James and Matt are as alike as apples and oranges – plus there’s a piece of forbidden fruit on the side that might just upset the apple cart. Lilian is tempted, but will she bite? Meanwhile, over at The Bull, Fallon finds out whether she’s been pipped at the post. Elizabeth hopes Ifty can help Freddie polish his maths. Peggy gives Tom an apple of an idea, which he’s sure will bear fruit. How bout them apples?… It’s The Archers!
