Matt believes he's in the doghouse with Lillian for keeping news of Arthur Walter's death from her, but little does he realise she has more on her mind than his misdemeanours.
Robert is also troubled, although his worries are down to fears that his scenic reconstruction of the Globe Theatre won't be completed in time for Lynda's dramatic extravaganza. Chop chop, Robert, the last thing you want to do is send Lyndy into a tizz at this delicate time of year.
Thank heavens, then, for the distractiion of the Christmas Lights., which are due to be switched on this Thuesday. Kenton is taking charge and is anxious not to make a mess of things - to which some of us will no doubt ask: why break the habit of a lifetime?
Sunday Dec 2

Mon Dec 3

Fri Dec 7
Lillian feeels conflicted. Ruth is determined to help.

Thanks, toffee. So, Ruth is determined to help. Well, well, that's a bit of a change from last week, isn't it?

That's what I was going to ask, then I thought it might be someone I should know and have just forgotten, so I didn't ask!

From the other mag:
[Meanwhile, David and Ruth are keen to help and they think about giving Ed some advice about his dairy business.]
Will Ed be too proud to listen, though?!

Ed's too proud to do anything that might possibly help him.
Not quite sure what he's proud of, though...
