  Lillian continues to dice with danger as she returns to Ambridge after her short break. is Peggy onto her secret?
  Just how suspicious is she about the phone call she heard last week?
  
  It doesn't help matters that Lillian is struggling to find excuses that account for her visits with Paul now that Matt is being unerringly attentive.
  
  Ed, meanwhile, is more into negotiation than deception as he tries to work out a better price for his milk with Mike. But with baby Tucker due any day, Mike is preoccupied. Vicky, for her part, is horrified that Ed is so tactless to broach the subject of money at such a delicate time and - true to form - refuses to stay silent on the matter.

  There is a new arrival at Blossom Hill Cottage. Meanwhile, Lillian is worried.

  Jennifer hosts a family gathering.
  
  Tuesday Jan 8
  Ed makes a request and Vicky is indignant.

  Kenton is on a mission and Neil tries to give advice.
  
  Thursday Jan 10
  Paul suggests and unexpected solution and Mike makes a confession.

  So Lil and Paul drag on and on. And if, as some people think, Matt DOES know what's going on and is being 'unerringly attentive' to make her uncomfortable or whatever, he's taking his flaimin time about confronting her with it!
  Wonder how long they WILL drag it out.
  
  And the stuff about Mike and Ed really DOES make me mad!
  Do all businesses in Ambridge run on mates rates or something?!
  Ed should not mention business/money at this 'delicate time' - what delicate time?! Vicky's about to have a sprog. Millions of women do daily - even a lot of her age. So what?
  
  Is Ed supposed to be 'sensitive' and not mention being ripped off - if he is - cos the baby is handicapped? Well the baby will be handicapped forever (unless of course its a miracle perfect baby!) so .... is he not supposed to mention business/money til the baby is a teenager, or something?!
  I know the writers hate Ed, but this is a bloody joke! (excuse my French!)
  I wonder what Mike's 'confession' is.
  
  Could Paul's 'unexpected solution' be to just come clean and tell Matt the truth?
  Silly me, this is a soap, affairs are dragged out forever.
  
  And as if the week doesn't sound horrendous enough - look whose back!
  
  LOONEY!!!!

  Even Tony and Pat have been dug up!
  We've got Taaarm as well.
  
  What a horrendous way to start a New Year! Welcome to 2013 as we mean it to go on?
  What a thought!

  Thanks for posting these; haven't got my new RT yet.
  
  I'm guessing that the writers intend us to be just as scathing over Vicky's "indignance" re: Ed's "tactlessness" as we normally are about many of the selfish ideas she puts forward. I don't think it sounds like this is supposed to make us agree with her.
