Lillian and Paul have a new love nest in Felpersham: good news for listeners who don't want to hear any more pastiches of Brief Encounter: bad news for Brenda, who's becoming increasingly irritated by the amount of work that Lillian is piling on her plate.
There's friction, too, between the Carter and Aldridge clans after the families learn of Alice's yearning to work abroad. When Jennifer and Susan encounter each other in the community shop, the amount of frost in the atmosphere could chill the fridges for a fortnight.
And as Alice frets about her future, Ed grows concerned bout exploiting people's goodwill.
No such qualms for Jazzer, though, who leaves his business buddy far from happy.

The Susan thing I find funny. Had Chris been married to another peasant it wouldn't bother her, but as he's married to 'local royalty' that makes her such a snob to boast about the Aldridges 'being family', then presumably she's not happy at all at the prospect of no longer being able to say the local nobs 'are family'
Equally weird is Brenda complaining about 'work Lillian is piling on her plate'
She works in a tiny office in a tiny business run by , in affect, one person. They're not in London, they're in a tiny village where there's hardly millions of properties to keep an eye on.
What a joke.
Lynda's 'big decision' might be something mentioned in the other mag. She 'refuses to pass on the news of Wolfgang's unexplained death to Dopey and Roof'
Wonder why? Cos a badger did it?! That was my first thought when I heard he was dead!
And so I conclude my final Radio Times spoilers on this board.

Thank you, and the other spoiler contributers.
This has usually been the first section I've visited when I logged in.
Oh, Toffee, so sad.. But thank you for all your past spoilers here. I trust we'll be reading them over at Peet's from now on?

You will indeed.
I started last week, so these are already there now.
It will feel very odd next week. Usually after I've bought the TV mags the first thing I do when I get on the computer is literally to go to this TA Spoilers thread and write them up.
I'll probably be automatically looking for it next week just from habit!
Thanks from me too, Toffee! I will probably lurk in Peet's for the spoilers.
