    The Carter and Aldridge families learn of Alice's yearning to work abroad and the news causes quite a stir, as Susan blames Jennifer for Alice's wanderlust.

    Meanwhile, Ed still has concerns about Jazzer;'s money-making enterprise, and urges caution.

    There's also friction in the Amside office as Lillian shirks her work in order to make her first visit to the new apartment in Felpersham, which Paul has acquired for them to use.

    Lynda is still mourning her beloved Llama, but she refuses to pass on the news of Wolfgang's unexplained death to neighbours David and Ruth.
