Does anyone happen to have the lyrics for Eddie's 1981 (?) single, 'Lambs to the Slaughter'?
I'm not planning to perform them, but wish to settle a bet!

But I only want the lyrics... as I would assure you if I wasn't handcuffed to the window bars of the Pre-Mod cells.
Why did I have to tangle with the local pre-mod's daughter?

Thanks Rosie T - but that's not it!
All I can remember is a fragment of the refrain:
"Why did I have to tangle with the local copper's daughter/ Like horses to the water/ Like lambs to the slaughter..."
Or have I lost it completely? Should I give up and seek to adjust my medication?

Is 'Miliking' anything like 'Mollocking' which is what Seth does in Cold Comfort Farm?
Never mind.
I'm trying to come to terms with the deeply scary prospect that I imagined this song and Eddies singing it.
Anyone know a good shrink?
